Lotus Domino

Lotus Domino has the anti-spam controls you would expect to see in a modern commercial MTA. These controls include

  • Relaying

  • Whitelisting/blacklisting

  • Filtering

  • DNS Blackhole Listing

Relaying controls include the ability to specify users who are allowed to relay messages through the server and STARTTLS and SMTP AUTH support. Server-level whitelists and blacklists are available on both the SMTP inbound and outbound side on both sender and recipient, enabling very fine-grained control of email flow. In an unusual feature for an email server, Domino has easy filtering at the server level, making it much easier to enforce policies that an organization might have regarding email.
