Summary

In this chapter, I discussed values that guide the facilitator role, ethical guidelines for decision-making groups, specific ethical concerns mentioned by a group of practicing facilitators, and the application of values to how we perform our job as facilitators. We turn next to conflict. How we choose to handle conflict in groups is a reflection of our opinion on the importance of conflict—or to say this another way, the values we hold about conflicts in groups.
