Abstract
Developing sustainable techniques for agriculture and soil management is essential for ensuring food security, protecting natural resources, and promoting sustainable livelihoods and exploring the importance of research and exploration in this field, highlighting key research questions related to soil health, water management, agricultural technologies, policy interventions, and the impacts of climate change. It emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary approaches that integrate social, economic, and environmental considerations to promote sustainable techniques for agriculture and soil management. This involves investigating the impacts of different agricultural practices on the environment and human health and exploring innovative approaches to improving agricultural productivity while minimizing negative effects on natural resources. This will involve exploring the potential for small-scale and diversified farming systems like India to support sustainable livelihoods or assessing the effectiveness of different policy interventions by the government.
