13.1 Introduction

Internet of Things (IoT) is a well‐known term nowadays and the reason behind its popularity is its vast range of applications to target real‐time problems. IoT is basically a cluster of inter‐related and inter‐connected devices that work together in order to achieve common goals. All the devices in the cluster work collaboratively to attain efficiency and quality in the task. IoT is considered efficient and promising for future aspects only because of its functionality and unbeatable efficacy in terms of supporting numerous real‐time applications in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, education, the military, and many more. It has much to contribute to the cyberspace world and the list of its advantages is endless. One of its major contribution is in the healthcare sector [5].

Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a real‐time application of IoT only.
