CHAPTER 15Why Seek Personal Financial Advice?
When I first started thinking about writing a book about how to stack financial planning strategies, my motivation was twofold. I wanted a book I could give to some of my clients who were interested in learning more about financial planning strategies on a deeper level. I also wanted to give more people the opportunity to make the most of their financial lives in line with their own ‘why’, and perhaps engage with financial planning like they'd never engaged with it before — in a way that makes a real and significant difference to the financial and other outcomes they'll achieve across their lives. This is an ambitious book in that regard, as everyone has different needs and goals and they will change at different life stages. However, I believe that the strategy stacking philosophy holds true regardless of where a person is at in their life, or how old they are.
We've all got some money in our pockets, but it doesn't mean we're experts when it comes to managing it. That's why seeking the help of a qualified and licensed financial planner can make a real difference.
