Abstract

A smart scarecrow based on IoT and its tangible functions or tangible interactions are documented in this study. A smart scarecrow is an automated device used to scare birds and other animals away from crops and gardens. Unlike traditional scarecrows, which rely on their appearance to deter birds, smart scarecrows use technology to detect and repel pests. One of the issues farmers face even today different wild animals raiding their farms day and night. The threat posed by wild animals, which can seriously harm farmers’ crops and even take their lives at times, is present all across the world, but especially in India. Both of them are put in risk by the fight between humans and animals. This project avoids such human-animal encounters and keeps animals away from farmland, populated areas, or any other location where the product is installed.
