ABN Australian business number.
account-based pension A tax-effective retirement income stream commenced with superannuation money.
actuary A professional mathematician who calculates risk, uncertainty and a host of other specific numbers including tax benefits for SMSFs. You will need one if you have a TRIS or one member has an account-based pension when others are in accumulation mode and assets are not segregated.
actuarial certificate A certificate of authenticity provided by an actuary to allow you to claim a tax exemption on your SMSF’s income stream.
