Data Services
Data services deliver and manipulate information from data at rest implementations (data at rest are persisted in a database, file management system, document, or similar). In a simple sense, data services access the databases, files, documents, and similar implementations that serve traditional business applications. As a result, data services help to unlock the information held by line of business and application-specific systems, and provide a solution to enterprise application and information integration challenges.
