Chapter 7. Available SOAP Implementations
This chapter discusses a few of the more popular commercially available and freely available SOAP servers. Because it is so easy to write a SOAP client and server, many implementations exist. The authors of these implementations get to piggyback on the enthusiasm and implementations that standardized XML brought about. This left them only needing to implement that little bit of SOAP-specific code to get things working. When picking an implementation to discuss, I used the following criteria:
