32. Ask the Audience

An important part of your social media strategy should be to engage your customers, evangelists, and a general audience who might be interested in your products or service. One way to do that is to just ask questions. The key here is that when you are getting started with a social media strategy, your questions shouldn’t be all about you, your products, and your brands or services. The questions you ask first should be geared to learning more about what brings your audience to the community and why they feel so compelled to participate, engage, and share.
