5.7: Numerical solution of fuzzy nth-order differential equations

In this section, a numerical method for solving nth-order linear differential equations with fuzzy initial conditions is considered. The idea is based on the collocation method. This means the coefficients and also the solution can be produced by the basis functions. To this purpose, the fuzzy solutions are formed as a linear combination of the basis functions with fuzzy number coefficients. Then this combination is used in the differential equations instead of the fuzzy solution. Finally, in the obtained equations, collocated points are used to have a linear system of equations.
