2.1 Introduction
Systems are created for a given purpose; therefore, it is critical to understand why we are building a given system. No matter how technically elegant, it is no good if a system’s purpose is not clear and it fails to meet its intended objectives. These intended objectives are typically found in the strategic vision that prompted an organization to undertake the development of a system of interest.
