Earlier, we introduced the concept of middleware that provided the software infrastructure over networking hardware for integrating server platforms with computing clients, which may comprise complete platforms in their own right.
Distributed infrastructure is a broad description for the full array of object-oriented and other information technologies from which the software architect can select.
