While writing this, I’m based in the United Kingdom – it’s a common pastime here to complain about our broadband connectivity (even more than the weather these days); especially if, like me, you live away from a town center. You might be reading this in Mumbai, or Minneapolis, or Sydney, or London; if so, you probably have relatively good broadband too. However, not every part of the world does, nor do they have telephone reception.

Because I live outside of the city, when I commute in for work, I travel through a couple of areas of extremely bad reception, and so I lose my Internet ...
