Abstract
Infrastructure-as-a-Service clouds offer access to a scalable virtualized infrastructure on a pay-per-use basis. This is greatly beneficial for the deployment of scientific workflows, and as a result considerable effort is being made to develop and update existing workflow management systems to support the cloud resource model.
