One of the main skills for a developer is using programming languages. This chapter will cover a variety of popular languages and explain the key and common uses for that language, the sectors or products in which the languages are most prevalent, and give brief examples of what the language looks like, and what might prompt a developer to use that language. I will also suggest some additional learning resources for each language.
