So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter Nine. The Many Ways to Fix Defects
You may ask, Why explore alternative repair methods? The key reason is to increase the flexibility of your planning breadth in the defect repair battle. I’ve been a part of many endgames that had the goal of repairing all of the defects. Some even came close to achieving that goal, but at fatal costs to timely delivery and team sustainability. It’s been my experience that this goal is flawed and virtually unachievable. Given that, you need as broad a set of responses in your defect repair toolbox as possible, in order to achieve a successful endgame.
