‘C’ Syntax Coding Standard: Source Code Development

This document was edited and reformatted from the original work of Daniel Moone, who wrote a document originally called the C Coding Standard in 1992. It has undergone multiple revisions, with the latest version in 2009 renamed to the C Syntax Coding Standard. Dan’s experience includes embedded development in automotive, medical, and industrial fields, where many of the terms and definitions in this standard are founded. Special thanks to him for allowing the book Software Engineering for Embedded Systems to provide this information to the readers.
