I am the proud father of two lovely children, a boy and a girl. When our first child entered our lives, my wife and I were ecstatic. We went to the hospital as two people and came out as three. The first few moments were ones of relief that slowly transformed to bliss. Over the next two days, the baby was taken care by the hospital staff. We were around for all the good things—cuddling the baby, watching it opening its eyes, seeing a nurse give him a bath, and so on. After we reached home, our lives turned upside down.
