Chapter TenSPOC Step 2: Pipelines Analysis
In SPOC Step 2, Pipelines Analysis, you compile the detailed information that is required for applying Pipelines Law to your Pipelines Design. This is the phase where you gain a full understanding of your application, its makeup, and its requirements. Most importantly, you’ll identify the performance characteristics of each main component in your application. When you find out how well each component performs, you’ll know exactly where the key constraints—the bottlenecks—are located, and you’ll be able to fix them by applying Software Pipelines.
