6.1 Introduction
Every project involves multiple individuals or groups called ‘stakeholders’ who directly or indirectly get impacted by the project. So, keeping all these parties informed about the project progress, regularly communicating with them, dealing with conflicting interest requires considerable effort and planning.
Users represent important stakeholder groups who use or gain the benefits of the project outcome. A representative set of user groups at senior level is to be involved in the project with significant authority to take important decisions on behalf of the end users.
