Chapter 20. Agile projects

Agile development refers to a set of software development methods that encourage continuous collaboration among stakeholders and rapid and frequent delivery of small increments of useful functionality. There are many different types of agile methods; some of the most popular are Scrum, Extreme Programming, Lean Software Development, Feature-Driven Development, and Kanban. The term “agile development” has gained popularity since the publication of the “Manifesto for Agile Software Development” ([ref015]).
