Chapter 10. Entities and Events as Objects
We build a model of the system as part of our analysis. We then use this model to ensure that we have a strong understanding of the software requirements necessary to meet the user requirements as represented by the use cases. We then use an analysis model as the basis for the remaining analysis. The analysis model is the central tool to move from analysis to design. The class diagram is the primary element of the analysis model.
