A Comparative International Perspective
Abstract
The solar photovoltaics (PV) industry has expanded rapidly on a global scale in the last decade, but differing governance approaches have emerged in national contexts supporting its development and countering environmental impacts. By adopting a policy instruments perspective, this chapter compares solar PV governance in five leading states, namely the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, and China.
