Because Trusted Solaris 8 is based on Solaris 8, most administrative functions and commands are the same. A special version of the Solaris Management Console is included to provide convenient access to the functions necessary to administer a Trusted Solaris 8 system. It is based on standard Solaris Management Console 2.0 but includes additional controls related to the added security features of Trusted Solaris.
