Creating a Role

Use the following steps to create a role and assign users to it.

1.
From the Solaris Management Console window, click on the control to the left of the System Configuration item in the navigation pane. The Users tool is displayed.
2.
Double-click on the Users icon. The Users Login window is displayed.
3.
Log in as a user who has solaris.role.write authorization rights, type your password, and click on the OK button. By default, Primary Administrator and User Security have solaris.role.write rights. After a few moments, the Users tools are displayed in the right pane.
