COMMANDS STARTING WITH r
Some commands on Solaris systems start with the letter r and have special features associated with them. These commands are used for access to a remote host on the network, usually without requiring a password. These commands are handy for shell scripts that interact with multiple hosts on a network. Table 4.7 shows some of these commands and their use.
