nslookup — Query Nameservers Interactively
Synopsis
/usr/sbin/nslookup [- option]... host [server] /usr/sbin/nslookup [- option]... - [server] /usr/sbin/nslookup
Description
Use the nslookup command to query Internet domain nameservers. nslookup has two modes: interactive and noninteractive. Interactive mode enables you to contact servers for information about various hosts and domains or to display a list of hosts in a domain. Use noninteractive mode to display just the name and requested information for a host or domain.
