Virtualization monitoring

Virtualization is one of the hot topics in IT these days. One of the things commonly lacking in a virtualization deployment is a proper way to monitor virtualization environments. Thankfully, SolarWinds Orion NPM has come to the rescue with built-in virtual host and VSAN monitoring.

Note

Orion NPM can only monitor VMware hosts. Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V, and other virtual hosts are not supported.

All virtual hosts that are monitored by Orion NPM will be displayed in the Virtualization Summary view under the Virtualization tab.
