A holistic approach to interdisciplinary composition
Introduction
The origins of interactive dance can be traced back to John Cage and Merce Cunningham’s collaboration Variations V of 1965, yet vigorous research on developing wearable or camera-based motion-tracking sensors has only been conducted by a larger number of composers since the 1990s.
