Background
While the continent was embroiled in the Reformation and Luther, Zwingli, Calvin, and Simons were exerting tremendous influence on religious and civil life, similar events were in play across the channel in England. The reformation in England gave rise ultimately to a number of churches, including most of those who currently use the evangelical worship style. These all were eventual offshoots of maybe the most famous outcome of the English reformation.
