As we know, theory and practice in business are very different. To this point, this book has discussed a lot of what it is like to outsource to China, of course, based on more than a decade of experience in the China business environment and in outsourcing specifically.

However, perhaps the best way to demonstrate the value of what outsourcing partners in China can offer is through a series of case studies involving different companies, both in terms of clients and the outsourcing companies they chose.

In the following cases, the clients had opportunities to outsource to other countries and companies, but instead chose the partners noted here. Overall, these case studies demonstrate the wide range of services available from outsourcing firms in China, and the cost savings and advantages in quality they can offer.

Going for the Chinese Choice

The client initially contacted one of the best-known Indian-based outsourcing companies to handle the project. However, the client was not satisfied with the progress of the project and that company’s attitude. The client was not big enough for the Indian corporation, junior management handled the client and the company’s response to the client’s needs was slow and insufficient.
