STREAMLINED SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS
When an agency plans to issue a written solicitation for a commercial item, it can use a streamlined method of solicitation that combines the synopsis requirement at the governmentwide point of entry (GPE) and the solicitation itself. When properly executed, this procedure can significantly reduce procurement administrative lead time (PALT).
