The Last Word

That’s about it. If you’ve read this book front to back, you should now understand the fundamentals of CSS—how to speak it and how to understand it. Like any language, there is always more to learn—nuances that turns humdrum prose into compelling poetry.

In this last chapter, I want to offer a few parting words about the state of CSS and to review some of the best practices I’ve stressed throughout the book.
