Granting and Revoking Permissions for Database Objects
The second layer of Access security is at the database level. Access lets the database administrator grant or revoke permissions to use specific database objects to all members of a group or to specific members of a group. Permissions grant authority for users to view or alter specific database objects. The permissions granted to the group are inherited by each member as he or she is added to the group. Thus, it is important that you establish the group permissions you want before adding users to a group.
