Sharing Databases on the Network

After you set up your user groups and modified the database object permissions for the groups as necessary, you can safely share the workgroup system database and your data .mdb file, and then distribute copies of your application .mdb file to the users. Before sharing the files, be sure to create a backup copy of each shared file and store the copies in a safe location. The following sections describe how to share files.
