Running Disk Performance Utilities with the System Agent
Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95 provides the System Agent, a program that enables you to schedule when to run the system maintenance utilities discussed in this chapter. The System Agent can run other programs, as well, and notify you when your hard disk is low on space.
By default, the System Agent is enabled after you install Plus! This means that each time you start Windows 95, the System Agent starts automatically and runs in the background, only becoming active when it needs to start a scheduled program or notify you of low disk space.
