Working with Applications
Many operations are similar among Windows applications. Nearly all Windows applications, for example, start with the File and Edit menus. The File menu includes commands for opening, closing, saving, and printing files. The Edit menu includes commands for cutting, copying, pasting, and other editing actions specific to the application. The procedures you use to control menus and select items in dialog boxes are the same in nearly all Windows applications.
