Using the Windows Address Book

When you install Outlook Express, you also install a new and improved Windows Address Book. The new address book is fully integrated with Outlook Express but can also run as a stand-alone contact management application. In Windows Address Book, you can store home and business addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, security certificates, and other contact information. Some of the features of the Windows Address Book enable you to do the following tasks:

  • Manage your personal contacts

  • Create distribution lists for your email messages

  • Search for people on the Internet

  • Manage security certificates

  • Print your address book to keep with you

  • Import or export contact information for other address books
