Since the release of Windows 95, Novell has created its own protected-mode NetWare client, the NetWare Client32 for Windows 95. This client, as well as MSNDS, provides Windows 95 users with the basic NDS access that they requested. Novell's client, however, has proven to be a significantly more ambitious project than Microsoft's, and with good reason.
