Project: Using a Custom Template to Streamline Monthly Reporting
This project shows you how to use templates (combined with other features) to streamline the process of creating a monthly progress report. In the final step, you store your new template in a workgroup template folder, where it can be used by any colleague who needs to create a progress report.
Step #1: Open a new template based on the built-in Report template of your choice.
Choose File, New, click the Reports tab, and choose the template you want. Click Template in the Create New area. If you're prompted to install the template, click Yes. Click OK. Then save the template under a new name (see Figure 7.15).
