Creating Nested Tables

In Word 2000, you can create tables within tables, called nested tables. This technique is primarily used in building Web pages. It can give you more control over the appearance of your table, by allowing you to more precisely control where information in your table appears. Sample nested tables are shown in Figure 9.10.
