Getting Ready to Use Online Collaboration

After you have decided that online collaboration meets or exceeds your needs for document review, your next step is to get it set up. Here's what you need:

  • A Microsoft IIS Web server running under Windows NT Server

  • Office Server Extensions installed on the IIS Web server

  • A user account for each person who is going to participate in online collaboration

  • Suitable browsers or Word 2000 for use by all participants

  • A copy of Microsoft NetMeeting if you also want to schedule a meeting for real-time collaboration
