Customizing Menus

In Word 2000, customizing menus is similar to customizing toolbars. Three aspects of customizing menus will seem very familiar if you've read the previous sections about toolbars:

  • You work from the Tools, Customize dialog box.

  • You drag choices where you want them to appear.

  • You can customize existing menus or create new ones.

The simplest case is adding a command to an existing menu.
