The PRINT field bypasses Windows to send coded PostScript printing instructions directly to a printer. This can be used to achieve certain sophisticated effects on a PostScript laser printer.
Note
This feature was originally designed for the HP LaserJet II and LaserJet III series and compatible printers; Microsoft warns that it may work inconsistently with other printers.
