Inserting Your Own Sound File

You can also insert your own sound file into a PowerPoint presentation. To do this, simply follow these steps:

1. Choose Insert, Movies and Sound, Sound from File. The Insert Sound dialog box displays, as shown in Figure 13.17. Sound Files displays in the Files of Type field by default.

2. Navigate to the sound file you want to insert, select it, and click OK.

3. A dialog box asks if you want the sound to play automatically when you display the slide. Click Yes if you want to do this. Otherwise, you need to click the sound file to play it.
