Picturing Yourself on TV
Before your career ends, you will not be typing to people anymore. You will be seeing them, just like you see people on TV. It won't exactly be face-to-face, but it will be very close. One reason communication will have to be more visual is the fact that the baby boomers are past the age of 50. As our bodies get older, the dexterity in our fingers diminishes. As a maturing society we will demand an easier way to electronically converse than using a verbal banter of email messages. This evolution is inevitable.
