Once and Future LISP
Even within LISP, you can choose from a range of programming options. The LISP language was originally designed as a language for efficiently processing lists, such as series of numbers or text. AutoLISP is an adaptation of LISP for AutoCAD. The language easily handles (x, y, z) coordinate geometry and is well suited to programming in a CAD environment. This is still the quickest and easiest way to customize AutoCAD.
