I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Active Directory is created after you have rebooted the domain controller. The new domain controller has several new folders and shares. Additionally, if this is a new domain, you now can see the Active Directory containers created.
New Shares
Two new shares are created on a new domain controller to support its duties in its new role.
sysvol
The SysVol share is where the filesystem objects that comprise group policy are created. Every domain controller has a sysvol folder, and the File Replication Service is used to keep the contents of the sysvol folder synchronized with every other sysvol folder on every other domain controller in the domain.
