Overview of Group Policy Administration

Chapter 21, "Group Policy Sections," discussed every node in the computer and user group policies to familiarize you with their possibilities. By now it should be obvious that virtually anything can be set by group policy. Indeed, many extremely important, domain-wide options are set in group policy and nowhere else.

This chapter looks at the day-to-day creation, application, and management of group policy. A series of rules surround applying group policy to users and computers and how an object's location in Active Directory can affect which group policy is applied to that object.
